Gavin graduated from Central Bucks West in 2001. He was a three-year letter winner and two-year starter while playing for Coach Mike Pettine and Coach Mike Carey at Central Bucks West. His teams accumulated a 44-1 record winning three league titles, three district titles, and two state titles. In 2000, Gavin was awarded All Conference Honors and set the CB West season record for Black Stars with 59, a record that still stands. Gavin went on to be a three year starter at Safety for Northeastern University in Boston. At Northeastern Gavin was named Special Teams Player of the Year (2003, 2004), Defensive Team MVP (2004), and Atlantic 10 2nd Team All Conference (2004). In 2004 Gavin was also awarded the prestigious Herbert W. Gallagher Award presented annually to Northeastern’s Top Male Scholar Athlete. Gavin has been an early employee at a number of technology startups in San Francisco, Dublin, Ireland and Philadelphia. Gavin currently resides in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania with his wife, Brianne, and two children.
